Competition time!

The prize is a holiday of your choice, for you and 5 friends, for up to 16 days, anywhere in the world! The competition is with Exodus and all you have to do is give them an original idea for your perfect adventure. Click here for more details and to enter.

Wild Caravan Break

Getting off the beaten track is a pretty easy thing to do in Ireland. Why not mix things up a bit though and do it with your own horse drawn caravan. There are a couple of family run operations located throughout the country that arrange everything for you. They show you the ropes and how to use them and most importantly give you ideas on where to go and what to see.

About us

"What is all this nonsense about", you may well be asking yourself? Well quite simply, it's what it says on the label. It's somewhere for you to express an idea, a dream or a goal that encompasses what would be your perfect adventure. The word adventure being used quite loosely here because it really depends on you. For some it may be relaxing on a beach off the east coast of Zanzibar or tasting fresh seafood in south-west Ireland. Others might want to climb Annapurna or live with a tribe in Indonesia. You might even want to spend 3 weeks at home learning to paint oil on canvas or write poetry. What we are looking for are original ideas. They may be something you've already done, something you're busy organising or just a dream that develops at 11:30 every morning during a nose-picking session at work.

All you need to do is click on the comment link below and describe your perfect adventure. To make sure I don't get any rubbish or advertising on the site I'll go through all the comments before allowing them to be published. Those who would prefer their adventures to remain private (for my eyes only) or would prefer to remain anonymous can let me know and I will make sure this happens.

Essentially this is the birth of a forum that discusses original adventures. If you never get the chance to experience your adventure, maybe someone else can, but hopefully getting you that little bit closer to actually setting off might be just thinking a bit about it or hearing from somebody who's already done it.
